Each room is individually designed, decorated and furnished and all named after local battles ? one from the War of the Roses (1455-87) and two from the English Civil War (1642-52) making our bed and breakfast accommodation quite unique.

Centrally located between Birmingham and London it's a great hotel for business. Also, Stratford upon Avon, Warwick and Oxford are all within a 25 minute drive.120 en-suite bedrooms and 4 conference rooms all with complimentary wired internet access. The bedrooms, varying in size and style, are well equipped. Spacious and very comfortable public areas include cosy lounges and an informal bar. Some of the original oak panelling and the black beams are still intact and service is attentive and friendly. The Mercure Whately Hall Hotel is set in its own gardens and has a croquet lawn for you to enjoy yourselves on and work up an appetite before dinner. The Premier Inn Banbury has a convenient location, on the B1400, within easy reach of the M40 motorway. Royal Leamington Spa and Blenheim Palace are just a short drive away, as is Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare.

The hotel has a 24-hour reception desk and some rooms can take 2 adults and up to 2 children (under 16 years). The 2 children also get a free full breakfast when accompanied by an adult eating a full breakfast.

An all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is available each morning and includes the expected cooked items such as scrambled, fried, poached or boiled eggs, and pork or vegetarian sausages. There is also a wide continental selection.

The restaurant was once a bake house and brewery, and now serves fine English and continental cuisine. Traditional ales and fine wines are served from the cool cellars and stone vaults.
The function room is available for small occasions: seminars, board meetings or private parties for up to 18, depending on the requirements.

It has been a public house since 1779 and some of the oak panelling can still be seen in the Lounge Bar which has a traditional open fire. This pretty Inn is part of the Hook Norton Brewery Company, with its fine reputation for pulling the best Hooky Traditional Beers, for many years.

Originally a farmhouse, converted into an inn and now recently extended to form a steakhouse restaurant and 6 bedroom private hotel. Adjacent to the m4o motorway! Char-grilled steaks are the speciality of the house. We have 2 restaurant areas,and a large garden with a covered decking area for alfresco dinning. We are situated just 2 minutes from Junction 11 on the m40 and 5 minutes from Banbury town centre.
